The space shuttle Endeavour is expected to arrive at LAX this afternoon after completing its farewell tour.  Next month it will make its way via city streets to its permanent home, the California Science Center.   

This isn't your typical street vehicle; the Endeavour is 122 feet long with a wingspan of 78 feet and a 57 foot tail.  This historical event comes with controvery after 400 trees have been cut down from city streets to make way for the shuttle's journey from LAX to the California Science Center next month.
